田明义
男，1962年8月生，贵州省关岭县人，汉族，中共党员。华南农业大学资源环境学院教授、博士生导师。专业：昆虫学。现兼任昆虫学系主任、华南农业大学华南昆虫多样性研究中心主任。中国昆虫学会会员、鞘翅学者学会会员（美国）。爱好：与大自然亲密接触。
一、学习和工作简历：
1980.10-1984.7 贵州农学院植保园艺系植保专业学习（本科）；

华南农业大学植保系硕士研究生（导师：陈守坚教授）；
1990.7-1992.12 华南农业大学植保系博士研究生（导师：庞雄飞教授、院士）；

华南农业大学资源环境学院（含原植保系）副教授。其中，1996.10-1997.9为波兰波兹南农业大学(Akademii
Rolniczej w Poznaniu)访问学者；
2000.12-现在
华南农业大学资源环境学院教授，2001年起被遴选为博士生导师。其中，分别于2000年2-3月、2001年2-4月、2002年2-4月和2003年4-5月、2004年2-3月、2005年3-5月、2006年2-3月和2007年2-3月8次应邀赴法国巴黎自然历博物馆（Museum
Nationald’Histoire Naturelle,
Paris）进行步甲科昆虫分类合作研究，分别被聘为该馆客座副教授（2000-2003年）和客座教授（2004年起）。
二、研究方向：
天敌（步甲科、方头甲科）分类和利用、保护生物学；
害虫生物防治；
园林害虫、柑桔害虫防治等。
三、目前主持的科研项目：
“广州城区绿地重要害虫综合防治技术”（广州市重大科技攻关项目，2003Z2E014）；
“步甲科昆虫分类”（与巴黎自然博物馆合作项目）；
“中国步甲属昆虫物种多样性及生存状况评价” （国家自然科学基金项目，30470259）；
“中国步甲属物种资源及保护生物学研究”（高校博士点基金项目，200505640140）；
“中国截翅类步甲科昆虫分类、系统发育和生物地理学研究” （国家自然科学基金项目，30670249）；
“中山市甲虫资源调查”（广东省中山市人民政府）。
四、研究论文及论著：
已发表有关学术论文近90余篇、参编教材、专著6部。在昆虫分类方面，已描述新种213个、建立新属2个。研究范围以中国区系为主，部分类群含整个东洋区。
